One technique you learn in Intuition Development is to just breathe so that you may change your focus or awareness. Remembering to breathe is so important and has been shown to reduce stress, increase alertness, and boost your immune system. Mindfulness is an important benefit of breathing. So I thought it would be fun to do a Mindful Minutes Challenge. It’s something you can do at your own pace throughout the day.

How it Works:

  • Set your goal.
  • Decide how many mindful minutes you want to practice each day.
  • See if you can turn it into a ritual.

As an example, before you do a task like gardening, house cleaning, or writing an email, center yourself for an amount of time of your choosing and it doesn’t have to be for a very long time. 3 minutes a day is good. Another way you can incorporate mindful breathing is before you get out of bed in the morning and in the evening when you are lying down to go to sleep. Visualize yourself having either a peaceful day or a relaxing night. Then take some inhale and exhale breaths. Just do what feels comfortable for you. As you practice, see if you can focus your awareness on breathing. Your thoughts will be there, but don’t allow them to take over your mind. In the beginning, this will take some getting used to. I have learned from my experience that as I began using my breath as a focused tool; I noticed my intuition.

Then if you really want to make this an ongoing habit in your life, keep a mindfulness journal and write what synchronicities you notice. They will become known to you through repetitious conversations you will have with others, or you might see the same symbols over again. Sometimes numbers appear like 333. These number sequences have a spiritual meaning behind them to help you move forward on your path.  It’s different for everyone and the only way you will notice the subtleties is to become more mindful and journal about it.

I would love to know about your experiences. Drop me an email at info@soulscollective.com.
